About the author
Nace en Asunción, República del Paraguay en el año 1971.
Sus primeras experiencias en la plástica surgen a los seis años.
A los 12 años llega al taller de Carmen Gonzalez Machado donde intensifica
sus conocimientos y sigue experimentando en la pintura, reafirmando su vocación.
De allí en más continúa su camino por la plástica hasta que a partir del año
2000 y hasta el año 2019, será discípula de Ponciano Cárdenas Canedo,
Maestro y principal referente en su oficio como Pintora.
Su admirable trayectoria incluye numerosas exposiciones colectivas e individuales tanto en Paraguay como en Argentina, jurado en distintos Salones de Artes Visuales, premios, menciones y reconocimientos por su labor artística.
La propia artista reflexiona: “Cuerpos, objetos, cerros, ríos, frutas, son solo formas
que no censuro. Líneas, ritmos, colores… que fluyen sin importar que signifiquen,
sin análisis, como simples pretextos para plasmar en la superficie. Luego, el
pensamiento y el estudio, que aún continuarán, se encargan de ordenar el plano. Y cuando el diálogo llega a su fin, materia y espíritu se evidencian en la obra. Y la
imagen, cualquiera sea, es solo el puente para penetrar en mi esencia y sentir lo
que no se ve”.
