Diplômé en communication graphique et en arts plastiques, adepte du graffiti depuis les bancs de l’école, Paf le Piaf usera de sa panoplie de subterfuges publicitaires, en décidant d’associer à son «blaze» un animal emblématique et facilement identifiable. Un petit lapin blanc aux yeux rouges verra le jour dans les rues de Paris durant le début des années 2000. Il représentera parfaitement sa vision de l’art de rue : une image symbole dénigrée mais répétée, capable de se multiplier vertigineusement vite aux quatre coins du monde !
En 2018, Paf le piaf se met à la recherche d’un nouvel animal totem pouvant accompagner ses nouvelles préoccupations : orienter et sensibiliser.
Rapidement l’oiseau prendra tout son sens. Son bec pointant la direction à suivre, il incarne également, à l’image du Dodo, la déperdition du monde face à la folie destructrice dont l’humain se sait fort capable.
Sensibiliser sur notre monde suffoquant, et orienter son fils sur le chemin de l’école, resteront les objectifs initiaux.
Aujourd’hui son travail navigue entre l’atelier, le muralisme et les interventions diverses qu’il donne à l’école d’art Brassart et dans d’autres structures associatives.
Depuis 2020, une dizaine d’expositions auront su mettre son travail en valeur dans la seule région de Tours.
