Catalina Salazar, artiste d'origine Colombienne a débuté ses études d'Art Plastiques à l'Ecole des Beaux Arts de Colombie en 1999, ensuite termine sa spécialisation en Peinture et Sculpture à l'Ecole d'Art Federico Chopin en 2003. Passionnée par la Culture Française, Catalina arrive en France en Août 2004 et décide de mettre son art entre parenthèse afin d'étudier la langue française dans la spécialité en Culture et Langage à l'Université Sorbonne Nouvelle, Paris III en 2005-2007.
En Août 2018, Catalina reprend son chemin artistique qui lui tient à cœur, lui complète et l'épanouit. Artiste Plasticienne Polyvalente certifiée et cotée par des experts d'art, I-CAC, reconnue et soutenue par ses proches, elle n'a jamais douté de sa passion à laquelle, elle dédie sa vie.
C'est ainsi que la curiosité du spectateur devant ses toiles, abstraites et figuratives l'ont fait comprendre qu'il n'y avait pas de limite, ses peintures étaient devenues le reflet de ses émotions, ce qui l'inspire à transformer une toile vierge en quelque chose de nouveau à travers de sujets subjectifs, poétiques et mystérieux.
