Né le premier juin 1991 et originaire de Normandie, Tolliac a développé tout jeune une passion pour le dessin sans pour autant prendre de cours d’arts ni s’orienter professionnellement dans ce domaine.
Autodidacte, il commence en 2017 par peindre des œuvres abstraites, afin d’expérimenter des outils différents (couteaux, pochoirs, spalters, peinture à la bombe, acrylique…), variant les couleurs et teintes selon ses humeurs.
L’art lui permet d’évacuer des émotions, parfois obscures, découlant d’un sentiment d’incompréhension face aux dégâts causés par l’Homme et la société. Ainsi, influencé par son amour pour la nature et son envie de sensibiliser à la cause animale, il se met à réaliser des œuvres plus figuratives. Il choisit de représenter des animaux qui, grâce à différentes techniques de peinture, se fondent dans des décors de plus en plus colorés.
Entraîné dans une dynamique qui le conduit à peindre le monde du vivant et inspiré par la naissance de sa fille, Tolliac réalise également une série de portraits de femmes qui se confondent dans des éléments et couleurs faisant toujours écho à la nature.
