About the author
Raffaele Iannone is a contemporary Italian artist. Since the nineties he has been working with a group of artists in the study and research of materials that allow him, in the following years, to operate within the conceptual and minimal themes. He produces two-dimensional works and installations using simple elements of cardboard, wood, plastic and metals. In the last decade, in addition to painting, he has accentuated his attention to recycled materials.
Raffaele Iannone in 1946, in Naples, Italy, where he graduated from the "Filippo Palizzi" State Institute of Art. Iannone has taken part in personal exhibitions and numerous collective art exhibitions in public and private spaces in Italy. He was president of the DNA Marateacontemporanea Association of Visual Arts based in Maratea, Italy (2010-2020).
