Non credo che la biografia possa essere interessante a meno che non sia una biografia del proprio pensiero, un pensiero che ci porta a vedere le cose in modo diverso, almeno per un attimo.
Vorrei parlare del pensiero che mi ha portato a dipingere le Trasparenze e da lì poi le altre serie.
Qualcuno che è lì ma che non riusciamo a cogliere, quasi fosse sfocato, o nascosto, o magari entrambe le cose. Non vediamo Dentro ma DIETRO. Le Creature che ritraggo si lasciano tristemente attraversare. Ne soffrono e ne godono al tempo stesso.
Il non essere visti è qualcosa che ricercano e temono.
Il Traguardo da raggiungere ed il Nemico da eliminare.
Perché?
Non essendo viste non devono sottomettersi al Giudizio Altrui.
Sono quindi Libere?
Libere di incatenarsi a loro stesse, di fermarsi e lasciare che anche il tempo le attraversi.
Libere di non esistere.
Sono spettatrici guardone di un mondo che non accettano e che non hanno la forza di cambiare attivamente.
C’ è sì una protesta ma anche una resa, un lasciare che sia.
Un senso di inettitudine costante che le schiaccia sempre più giù.
Questi quadri cercano di rappresentare proprio il NON ESSERE VISTI.

L’ occhio diventa parte integrante del quadro perché è lui che le rende realmente vive.
Vedendole le anima e realizza il loro desiderio di esistenza.
Il quadro è finito solo quando è in relazione con lo spettatore.
Si completa con lui.
Lo spettatore è la vera luce che lo fa uscire dalla tela, che lo rende tridimensionale.
Quando non è visto è piatto, semplicemente colore.
Il bisogno di nascondersi, annullarsi, sparire ed al contempo esibirsi.
