It was at the age of 37, while living in Africa, that I felt the desire to paint for the first time. So, I got myself a canvas and some oil paint. And I painted an emotion, a couple holding hands. I love the texture and smell of the paint. I now use both oil and acrylic, which allows me to paint more quickly. As if I was running out of time....
Painter, self-taught, my painting has evolved over the years. From figurative, it has become abstract. The abstract better reflects my need for the absolute and freedom.
