Il y a quelques années, une publicité sur l'aquarelle contemporaine a éveillé ma curiosité car, pour moi, ces deux termes étaient antinomiques et l'aquarelle offrait peu d'intérêt créatif.
j'ai tout de suite été conquise par ce travail avec l'eau, difficile et exigeant, qui demande réflexion, concentration, technique, anticipation et patience mais aussi tout son contraire.
J'aime utiliser la technique de l'humide dans l'humide qui donne cet aspect si doux. J'aime bien aussi déposer des couleurs directement sur le papier sec puis pulvériser plus ou moins d'eau et la laisser faire son travail.
Mes aquarelles sont plutôt colorées et figuratives bien que l'abstraction pointe son nez de temps en temps.
A la retraite, je suis partie vivre dans un village de Normandie où j'ai pu créer un atelier de peinture qui n'a pas d'autre but que de partager une passion dan la convivialité et l'émulation.
