Abstract painting represents for me a space of infinite freedom. There is no limit but that of my imagination.

With abstract painting, my goal is twofold: to express my own feelings and arouse emotions in the person watching the painting. Offer him this space of freedom, the time of an intimate moment between him and the canvas. Allow him to experience sensations, challenge his imagination so that he can see what he wants. I do not want to impose a figurative image, but rather to encourage travel in my imaginary worlds where dreams take precedence over reality.

Duality is a concept at the heart of my artistic approach. I particularly like to oppose the dream to reality because I am not really satisfied with the world in which we live. Its harshness, its atrocities push me to invent worlds where joy and harmony would take over. For my part, abstract painting is the means of communication that allows me to share these dreamlike worlds. And once the canvas is finished, then it begins its own life, material, and only needs to be seen and loved.

Self-taught, my main technique is experimentation. I like to test and use different materials to create original textures (coatings, sand, cotton, papers ...). I like to bring material to the canvas to create depth and intrigue those who watch. Acrylic is my best friend since it tempers my natural impatience thanks to its fast drying. On the other hand, I mainly use bright colors to best reflect the visions of paintings that creep into my mind. These visions take the form of a film that scrolls and stops to show me the clear picture of a painting. It is a continuous flow of images that never stops. So I paint, like an irrepressible need. And during that moment, I plunge out of time and space to finally feel soothed.
