I am Helene deroubaix a self taught artist in mixed media collages:)( and more altered objects, always more to come)I am in love with curiosities I can find here and there and especially in the attic of my passionate soul:) I am very compulsive and need to find new things all the time,try everything,change it all,re-create it. I am always learning and improving,discovering new techniques and materials to work with I adore sharing my deepest thoughts and my true emotions through art it's so relieving and it's also a way to link my soul to others,to feel the humanity chains and what makes us so unique and so alike:) I am at the basis a poetic writer and love to write zines but visual arts is another way to express what I cannot write,what I still don't know about myself,about existence It's also a way for me to celebrate the memories of the dead,of the past,of forgotten moments...I use vintage pictures,because it moves me,it's story of the past I try to tell my very own way,I resurect antique souls through colorful background and whimsical settings with all the love I can put into each artworks.
