Leaving France, Cegede began in 1985 an initiation training in the plastic arts and techniques of painting at SERMAC in Martinique, followed in 1994 by training in calligraphy at the HK art center

Approached from her 4th year of study for water-based techniques such as ink and watercolour, Cegede definitively adopted this medium in 1993, which corresponds to her stay in HK;

It was not until 2003 when she moved to the US that she introduced acrylic to her ink on paper paintings.

For 35 years Cegede interpreted the diversity of the landscapes and local scenes that surrounded it, observing and restoring the atmosphere through the colors and the portraits of people like a personalized travel diary imbued with his emotions.

Back in Paris, from 1997 to 2000, Cegede participated in the Salon des Indépendants, Salon d'Automne, GMAC, Chatou, and the creation market at the Jardin des Tuileries which gave him the best reception for his calligraphic inks; Followed in 2000 , a solo exhibition of around twenty inks and watercolors on the theme of women at the Cairo cultural center, then asked to exhibit in several galleries including the Duroub gallery following the interview which presented her on this occasion ..

The period across the Atlantic was decisive in the approach of Cegede whose work was noticed to represent the Merrick festival of Coral Gable in Miami, Pitsburgh and Chicago where she lived for 7 years where Cegede exhibited all of her work in various galleries including the ZhouB art center;

Just like the discovery of countries that she interpreted in the manner of an explorer, Cegede returned to the anatomical and expressive forms of the human body in connection with nature, the elements and the shape of objects that challenge her.

Back in Paris in 2011, Cegede took part in several creation fairs & markets such as the Place Maubert one initiated by the Arcima Gallery, which paid him a fine tribute.

And in 2014 moved to her hometown, to Antibes to open her Atelier-Gallery where she presents all of her ink-watercolor-acrylic production on paper and participates, among other things, in Heritage Days, an opportunity to exchanges and sharing of my universe.
