Evelyne Rose (pseudonyme LINE) est née dans la Vallée de la Bruche en Alsace.
Tout d’abord créatrice de dessins d’impression au sein d’une entreprise textile, elle a successivement exercé en tant que maquettiste et photograveur dans la sérigraphie, puis dans la gravure pour les rouleaux de l’industrie textile.
Suite à une longue absence de sa région natale qui l’a conduite aux quatre coins du globe, elle s’est installée en Corse durant 15 ans, où elle s’est adonnée à la décoration d’intérieur.
De retour en Alsace depuis 2010, elle s’est orientée vers l’illustration de livres interactifs pour enfants (Les Moustichats), sans cesser parallèlement la peinture acrylique sur toile, et les expositions personnelles et collectives.
Grande amoureuse des chats qui ont toujours partagé sa vie, elle défend la cause animale avec ferveur, dans toute sa généralité. Dans ce contexte, elle partage sa passion pour le dessin et la peinture avec son amour pour les animaux.
