Formée à l'école d'Art d'Avignon sur des bases classiques, Christiane Bernais à ensuite fréquenté plusieurs ateliers d'artistes renommés notamment dans le Lubéron, et à Paris. .
Aujourd'hui , elle a fait le choix de travailler seule dans son atelier, pour créer plus librement en utilisant comme elle l'entend, différentes techniques de peintures ou de sculptures .
Elle laisse ainsi libre cours à sa spontanéité, sa créativité au gré de son inspiration et nous invite à rentrer dans son monde imaginaire et joyeux, pour rêver et oublier un instant un quotidien parfois trop lourd.
Elle a fait sienne la citation d'Eugène Delacroix " Le premier mérite d'un tableau doit être une fête pour l’œil !" .
Cette artiste nous donne à voir des peintures abstraites très colorées et des sculptures en bronze, de femmes fines et aériennes ou au contraire toutes en rondeur mais toujours libres et joviales ( Résine )
