ich bin hARRY
Als ausgebildeter Schlosser kam ich mit 23 Jahren durch Museumsbesuche zur Kunst, erlernte Techniken der Ölmalerei und hatte Ende 1978 meine erste Ausstellung als Autodidakt in der Düsseldorfer Kunstszene.
In meiner Kindheit und Jugend wurde viel gewandert und darum wurde die Natur zu meinem Lieblingsmotiv. Mit der Zeit kam das Bewußtsein hinzu, das man mit der Malerei viele Möglichkeiten hat, sich auszudrücken.
1979 hatte ich einen längeren Aufenthalt in Paris und der Provence, deren Farben und Licht mich bis heute beeinflussen.
1982 stellte ich die Malerei in der Hintergrund, um mich mehr um Familie und meinem erlernten Beruf zu widmen.
Ich nahm an vielen Ausstellungen und Wettbewerben erfolgreich teil.
Von 1996 bis 2011 verbrachte ich jährlich 2-3 Monate in der ungarischen Puszta. Meine Ausstellungen in Ungarn fanden einen regen Zuspruch.
Seit 2012 widme ich mich wieder ganztägig der Malerei.
