Zwei sehr unterschiedliche Maltechniken sind in meiner Malerei vereint: Der sachliche Realismus der Figürlichen Darstellungen und das emotionale "Action Painting" der Landschaften bilden einen reizvollen und dekorativen Kontrast. Das ist ungewöhnlich und neu. "Die Vereinigung von Entgegengesetztem zu einem Ganzen" ist die ursprüngliche Bedeutung von Harmonie. Diese Einsicht liegt meiner Arbeit zugrunde und man kann sehen, dass es funktioniert. In jedem Fall sind meine Bilder moderne Kunstwerke und mit dem höchsten Qualitätsanspruch gemalt.
In der Kombination mit Elementen des Action-Painting, Tachismus und Informel bekommt meine Arbeit eine sehr lebendige Komponente. Denn fest steht: Jedem Farbklecks sieht man die Geschwindigkeit an, mit der er aufgetragen wurde. Die Summe all dieser "zufällig" entstandenen Farbspuren verdichtet sich zu einer chaotischen Ordnung in Analogie zur Natur, die sich ebenfalls chaotisch organisiert. Auf diese Weise entstehen in vielen Arbeitsschritten und Lasuren meine Gemälde. Vorlagen für die Motive finde ich teils in der Natur, öfter aber sind sie Produkte des Entstehungsprozesses sowie meiner Phantasie und Eingebung.
