Né dans le sud de la France en 1962, je commence très tôt une carrière dans le cinéma.
Chef machiniste, intermittent du spectacle depuis 35 ans, je vis pour l'image et par l'image. La passion de la photo m'est venue lors d'un voyage initiatique aux Etats-Unis en 1981 et ne m'a plus quitté depuis.
Au fil du temps et des tournages, j'ai développé deux voies parallèles dans mon travail photo. Je me suis d'abord appliqué à être le photographe du plateau mais aussi parfois aussi "le photographe de plateau". C'est pendant les tournages que j'ai expérimenté l'art du portrait.
D'un autre côté, chacun de mes déplacements, chacune de mes passions vont me permettre de partager le regard particulier que j’ai sur le monde. Saisir un instant et le donner à partager ! J'ai un boîtier greffé à la main gauche. Gauche, car dans la main droite je tiens mes outils de sculpteur... "ça rentre pas dans les cases !", aurait pu dire Zézette. Et cela me va bien.
