Née à Bourg-en-Bresse (France), Mimi Bressot fait ses études d'art à Paris en 1984. Tout d'abord, elle effectue une année de graphiste à l'Atelier de Sèvres, puis intègre l'Ecole Supérieure d'Art Appliqué "DUPERRE" où elle obtient son Brevet de Technicien Supérieur de Plasticien de l'Environnement Architectural. Elle poursuit ses études à l'Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs de Paris et obtient son diplôme d'Architecte d'Intérieur. Après quelques années de salariat dans une agence d'architecture (ARTE CHARPENTIER), elle retourne en province pour travailler à son compte et revisiter son métier d'architecte d'intérieur. Elle le définit encore actuellement ainsi: "J'aide les autres à se construire de l'intérieur". C'est son amour de l'Autre, sa capacité d'écoute, sa volonté de mettre en lumière les points forts de chaque individu qui l'ont amené à animer des ateliers d'expression artistique ouvert à tous (enfants, adultes, personnes en situation de handicap). Sa pratique personnelle de la peinture est un temps de ressourcement fondamental qui lui permet de se mettre à la disposition des autres.Passionnée par les arbres depuis son enfance, un brin rêveuse, et aimant jouer avec les mots, Mimi BRESSOT trouve son équilibre de vie dans la pratique artistique, sa vie de famille nombreuse et le partage d'activités culturelles avec l'homme de sa vie.
