About the author
The crazy person behind the alias of "Askew mind" was born in Ferrara, a little and very historic town in northern Italy, during the final beat of the 80's. At Florence university this fool decided to study art from a cultural and historical point of view. But a fire was kept silent for too long into his guts: he wanted to express himself. After degree, in 2016, he returned in his hometown and started to ruins sheets of paper trying to obtain a bag of certain basic skills. He's been improved since. Every piece, every lines makes him more aware. We can say he is self taught, or better, he's learning from every spot he can: ancient masters, contemporary fools, reality, his mind's corners. His life's goal is to become better at drawing; nothing else matters. He doesn't dislike messing up with colours, especially coloured pencils, watercolours and acrylic paints. Regarding the future he's thinking about attending a Fine Arts Academy, but you know: "Life is what happens while you're busy making other plans" (J.L.).
