Enfant, je me suis passionnée pour le dessin et depuis,sans cesse,le besoin de m'exprimer graphiquement a fait partie de ma vie.
Très jeune,je découvrais l'encre,puis le pastel sec,les graphites et les laques que j'ai pratiqués longtemps durant mon adolescence.
Je n'ai jamais suivi de cours de dessin,véritable autodidacte,très jeune,je ne reçus aucune formation:je recourus spontanément à la copie opiniâtre de reproductions d'oeuvres de Maîtres,discipline à laquelle je n'ai cessé de recourir.
De santé fragile,à vingt ans,je crus sage de refuser d'entrer dans un atelier de peintre et poursuivis mes études de Droit,contrairement à ma véritable nature..je regrette encore ce choix.
Des années plus tard,poussée par des amis,j'acceptai d'exposer mes travaux et me consacrai enfin à la peinture avec assiduité.
Ainsi,je réalisais beaucoup d'expositions à Strasbourg,Epinay,Paris et Metz,entres autres et rencontrai un bon accueil du public,en effet,je vendis et vends assez bien mes travaux ou des copies ou affiches de ceux-ci.
Lentement,se fit jour une certaine démarche graphique relevant de la recherche de l'harmonie sourde de l'abstraction post-cubiste.
Je ne crois qu'au travail humble, exigeant et inlassable,m'inspirant des exemples laissés par nos grands Maîtres.
