About the author
Michel Volle is an artist photographer born in Arles (France) in 1948, he leads a parallel career as a history teacher and photographer.
After a first exhibition in 1985, "IDENTITE ARDECHOISE", presented in Antraigues, he produced several exhibitions each year, working on different themes, the most often explored being bullfighting, ports and shores, urban scenes and street portraits. , especially at night, solitudes in all their forms, countryside and its abandonment, abstract realism....
Since 2012 he has participated in ART CAPITAL with the Society of French Artists of which he is a member and where he was awarded a medal in 2015 for his series "MUCEMOGRAPHY". He has often won awards for his bullfighting photos, a theme on which he has published several books, the last in 2017 "LE REGNE DU ROI HENRI". "NUITS BLEUES" is his last work presented in Arles in November 2017.
