Je suis né en 1971 dans une ville communiste du Massif central où je n'avais pas grand chose à faire sinon dessiner en attendant le Grand Soir… Enseignant chercheur, journaliste, officier des troupes de montagne, responsable de service communication, auteur de livres et de bandes dessinées, j'ai pas mal bourlingué à mon corps défendant. En 2016, j'ai mis pied à terre sans avoir trouvé le Graal, et créé mon propre studio de créations graphiques, PHRstudio. Le dessin est enfin devenu mon activité principale. J'utilise le numérique comme un outil au service du dessin traditionnel : il m'ouvre un espace de travail infini pour réaliser mes panoramiques ou accéder à un niveau de détail important et une grande précision du trait. A ceci près, mon approche reste traditionnelle : pas de filtre photoshop ou autre, pas d'automatisme, pas de "dessin assisté" : la palette Wacom a juste remplacé la feuille de papier et le stylet le crayon, la main et le geste restent les mêmes. Visibles à travers diverses expositions temporaires, mes travaux sont exposés la galerie Art52, 52, avenue de la Grande Conche, à Royan.
