J'ai appris sur le tas ya une semaine quand une voisine m'a prêté sa vieille machine à coudre de 1965 !!! Et j'ai suivi la norme afnor pour le modèle.

It is always when the work is finished that I rest, I observe it and I let words and impressions come to me.
For this canvas, and this from the beginning, I see the sea and the coast; maybe just the view I have on Ajaccio bay! In the morning, the sun which appears on the left of my panorama, like a suspended jewel ... and finally when it reaches the end of its race, when it fades behind the Crêtes, it floods the bay with its powder of gold, shining with iridescent light the valleys facing me. This magical spectacle must have inspired me!
And then ... there is also this animal side which emanates in my last works made with plants. This Palm tree used is powerful; it gives life to my paintings. We had a phoenix, a deer, a Kirin ... and today comes a dragon ... powerful, solid, indestructible, just, straight, imposing ...
I look at my canvas and I am impressed ... At every moment of the day, it is different. The colors are alive to the point of modifying the canvas, even its perception.
Without knowing it and without deep knowledge of Norse mythology, I represented the kingdom of Asgard. (By documenting myself on the subject, I see that many films and creations are inspired by this universe ...)
This kingdom of Asgard is home to 9 worlds, including that of humans. It is dominated by a gigantic palace adorned with pure gold, which is none other than the home of the Nordic gods. This kingdom is an immense green meadow where its palace is nestled between the mountains and the Marmora sea. Odin is none other than the most powerful god of Asgard and considered as "the leader of souls". Thor is his son, the most famous god of the Nordic gods.
These 9 worlds bring together unique creatures, such as Elves, Giants and Giant Wolves and finally, DRAGONS to name a few.
Asgard is considered the kingdom of the victors; where the saliva mixed with the 12 gods (12 astrological signs) created the Giant Kvasir whose attributes were knowledge, wisdom and all of the sciences (enough to dream of a better world!) ...
To conclude, apart from the references that resonate with this work, I noted that this mythology gives great importance to nature, by its beauty and fragility, and to women, by its power of creation and sweetness.
To name this painting, I was therefore inspired by the golden color, living and majestic, and by this kingdom of Asgard that I discovered ...

ZenShin a fait beaucoup parlé de lui en 2018 car il avait été sélectionné par l'Unesco lors de la Cop23 pour recevoir le "grand label d'art pour le climat" (il mettait en lumière les Îles Fidji-organisateurs de la cop23).
ZenShin avait été créé tout spécialement pour la grande exposition qui se tenait au #lazaret à #ajaccio pour habiller un grand mur de briquettes rouges ; mariage idéal avec le vert #iridescent.
Ce diptyque fait 1,60 de long, de quoi combler les interieurs contemporains !

~ Earth and sand colors .. The subject .. The plant material used .. brings us closer to our Earth, the soil on which we evolve and move forward ... This canvas, if it has a message, would be one of respect and the awareness of cherishing and protecting Our Earth and the pure beings that inhabit it.
~ Same approach as for Ankaa the Phoenix, I want to understand why this painting, why this name Kirin ... And I discover that the Kirin is part of the sacred animals, according to the book of rites, like the Phoenix. The first 4 animals manage the 4 energies (water, wood, fire and metal). The Kirin is the 5th element symbolizing the Earth (associated with the organs Spleen-pancreas and the bowels Stomach). The 4 animals representing the 4 orient, the Kirin represents the 2 complementary dimensions the top and the bottom (sky / earth axis), which gives the number 6.
~ The Kirin reigns over the animals with hairs, which walk (The Phoenix over those with feathers, which fly). It is a pledge of peace and happiness, a symbol of justice and values. The Kirin is the very embodiment of harmony ... Confucius attributes to him the power to give a prodigal son to the woman who will walk in the footsteps of the Kirin.
••• The Kirin was started during the creation of Ankaa le Phoenix because I wanted to see how I could have the upper hand on this vegetation, the palm tree. And let's say that for these 2 paintings, he totally manipulated me !!! Then, La Chimère Féerique showed me how to mix these strong and expressive energies. All of this is somewhat beyond me ... But it is still incredible that consecutively, 2 such legendary animals are born on my paintings. Titles and research only begin when the canvas is completely finished, since my primary objective is abstraction. But it is obvious that I am entering a new era with this palm tree and these "messages". Today, my quest will be a little more to, ... letting go ... We will see!

Le Kirin' est un animal légendaire chinois...
Les couleurs terres et sables.. Le sujet.. La matière végétale utilisée.. nous rapprochent de notre Terre, du sol sur lequel nous évoluons et avançons...
