Joaquim Serrenho:
Born on April 25, 1951 in Óbidos, Portugal.
After basic schooling, he attended the Rafael Bordalo Pinheiro Art School on a 5-year course in Fine Arts, which he concluded with the school's first prize. At the age of 19 he collaborated with the painter and sculptor Figueiredo Sobral, at the age of 26 he set up his own painting, ceramics and sculpture studio. Later, at the age of 33, he was invited by CM Peniche to work at the Municipal Museum where he taught fine arts classes, enjoying a studio and gallery where he sold thousands of works to visitors and admirers from all over the world for 20 years. Meanwhile, he exhibited collectively and individually for several years in Caldas da Rainha, Lisbon and Madrid.
