Jesús Valencia is a contemporary Chilean sculptor. He worked as a silversmith as a first step in learning metalworking techniques. He studied and researched for eight years before realizing he was ready to create major works of art.
In 2009, Valencia began working on his first sculptures and established his studio-workshop in San Pedro de Atacama's historic town center. Since then, his sculptures have been sold to private art collectors from all over the world during their visits to Atacama. As a result, his artworks may be found in many countries around the world.
