From an early age, he wandered between drawings, perspectives and models.
The child he was admired sailing and Formula 1. Fascinated by these worlds that remained inaccessible, he joined these universe by modeling boats and cars, diverting objects, smoothing cardboard and painting the hulls. The object was no longer a toy but a miniature, a collector's item.
Later, he tackled painting: landscape paintings, works of art, pencil portraits, then entered the School of Architecture. His studies respond like an echo to his taste for creation. There, observing the desertion of rural mountain villages prey to the rural exodus, it is in Indian ink wash that he realistically fixes the architecture of an era to bring memory to the peasant-builders. br />Since then, his brush has wandered and remains attached to the representation of reality. These meticulous works carry within them the challenge of precision, to share the emotion of details and colors under the effect of light…, the sailboat that cuts through the sea and leaves foam and spray in its wake…, the velvet of the petals, the slender summits of the mountains which tear the zenith.
As for the composition of the abstract works, it is done with lightness and fantasy, crossing the monochromes tinted with their complementary colors.
Influenced by 4 decades in the service of architecture, he aspires to the expression of a synthesis between architecture, painting and sculpture. He never ceases to capture shadows and lights and play them with relief. The 3D technique is at the service of this research, transforming his canvas into a composition that is both painted and sculpted, nourished by the quest for the smallest detail, thus inviting the observer to project himself into the painting.
