This is a square format painting on canvas; it's not based on a particular place, but is inspired by the light and atmosphere of early summer mornings spent walking by the sea.
It's painted using professional artist quality acrylics, with the addition of some silver, bronze and gold paint in the foreground to give an iridescent, reflective quality. It's completed with one layer of varnish for protection, and the sides are painted white.
The painting is initialled in the lower right front, and is labelled/ signed in full on the reverse; it is unframed, and there are picture hooks and cord on the back, so it's ready to hang.
The painting will be carefully packaged and sent tracked and insured with a reputable carrier.

I was born near London and spent my teenage years on the Isle of Wight. Following university in the UK and Canada, I spent many years working in health and education settings as a speech and language therapist, and also as a dance movement therapist in private practice.
I have always painted, and a few years ago took the bold decision to concentrate fully on my painting. I now live and work from my home in the beautiful borderlands between England and Wales, and make frequent painting journeys for inspiration further afield to the hills and coastlines of the north of England and Scotland.
