This painting forms part of my 'Northern Skies' series, based on my travels up to north-east England and Scotland, with their wild and deserted beaches and atmospheric skies.
It's a square format work on canvas, painted using professional artist quality acrylics.The sides are painted in blue/grey tones to match the rest of the work, and completed with one coat of varnish for protection.
The painting is unframed, and there are picture hooks and cord on the reverse, so its ready to hang. It is initialled in the lower right front and is labelled/ signed in full on the reverse.
This painting will be carefully packaged and sent tracked and insured with a reputable carrier. A Certificate of Authenticity can be included if requested.

I was born near London and spent my teenage years on the Isle of Wight. Following university in the UK and Canada, I spent many years working in health and education settings as a speech and language therapist, and also as a dance movement therapist in private practice.
I have always painted, and a few years ago took the bold decision to concentrate fully on my painting. I now live and work from my home in the beautiful borderlands between England and Wales, and make frequent painting journeys for inspiration further afield to the hills and coastlines of the north of England and Scotland.
