Tout simplement, j'avais envie de le dire, alors je l'ai peint au pastel, tout le monde reconnaîtra le thème de cette oeuvre, elle pose la question de l'ingérence de l'homme sur la nature en général mais également de ce que ferait l'animal si il était à la place de l'homme.

Painting Pastel

Pastel is an instrument widely used in plastic arts. Taking the form of a colored plastic stick, it is composed of pigments, a filler (chalk or plaster) and a binder (gum arabic, oil, wax). Professional painter since 2003, she practiced pastel for 15 years, sold more than 6,000 portraits on the spot and on order, a very strict profession, the line must be precise, millimetered. In parallel with her activity as a portraitist, she wanted to approach the pastel tool by using only the edge of it, this was the beginning of her “Experimental Portrait” series. This will lead her to oil painting with a knife and a large brush, she discovers the pleasure of painting and sculpting the material.
