Jacqueline De Vaan is a contemporary Dutch artist. De Vaan graduated from the Moller Institute in Tilburg as a teacher of drawing and textile work forms. Her love for sculpture was so intense that in 1997 it transitioned from a hobby to a profession. She began by exclusively using stone, but over time she also used wood and bronze. The artist collaborated with many artists to develop the field of stone design and bronze. Jacqueline De Vaan is a member of the sculpture collective Bascule and a member of the Steenhouwers in Breughel.
