I come from a family of artists so grew up in a lovely creative environment. One of my forebearers was a well known printmaker who transcribed JMW Turner's paintings into engravings in the early twentieth century. I am a graduate of the Royal College of Art, London and the École des Beaux Arts, Paris, I have worked as a professional artist for many years. For the last 18 years I have split my time between Cadiz Province in southern Spain, where I make much of my work, and a large print studio in Birmingham, UK. I am a printmaker who also paints and my working mediums are etching, silkscreen, monotype, and oil on canvas, paper and board. As a figurative artist my interests are fairly traditional and representational. My work covers a broad spectrum of subjects from fluid, evocative landscapes to narrative pieces very much in the printmaking tradition. I strive to make pieces of art that reach in peoples' soul or touch their hearts.
