Biography
Chantalle Smeets is na 4 jaar WIK (wet inkomensuitkering kunstenaar) in Maastricht Nederland, 20 jaar actief als professioneel kunstenaar. Samen met Martiene Stevens (haar partner en ook kunstenaar), beheren zij Kunsthuis Trobar Riemst (B).
Chantalle Smeets heeft gedurende die jaren een geheel eigen stijl ontwikkeld, Hetgeen zichtbaar wordt in haar beelden van brons,steen,keramiek en hout. Haar inspiratie bron is de natuur.
Zij heeft geëxposeerd bij diverse galeries en kastelen (ook beeldentuinen) in Nederland en België.
Naast haar sculpturen in diverse afmetingen exposeert ze ook schilderijen op doek en paneel in gemengde technieken.
