Inès Dauxerre is an art therapist, artist and actress. Immersed in art from childhood, between a fashion designer mother, painter then gallery owner and a father who spent his least free time drawing in India ink or painting in watercolor. It is first towards the theater that Inès turns; she studied at the Conservatoire d'Art Dramatique then decided to "go behind" and trained in the creation of sets, a highly creative profession, open to many techniques (wood, plaster, trompe l'oeil, sculpture , painting, ...). She paints, photographs, glues, writes on her canvases and becomes a full-fledged artist exhibiting in Paris, Lyon, Singapore, … She also illustrates books and magazines.
She also sculpts, first from cellulose for its finesse which allows her to integrate light into her works, then she trains with ceramists in order to work the earth and more precisely the porcelain, once again to let gently filter the light. In her studio, she draws her projects then models the earth and bakes it in her own oven. She then enamels (or not) her pieces before assembling them and sometimes incorporating another material. Each piece is unique.
Inès Dauxerre was born in 1965. A graduate in interior design from the MJM school, she lives and works in Asnières near Paris (France). his work was exhibited at the Musée de l'Homme in 2003, at the Center Georges Pompidou in 2004 and in several galleries.
