It is a process of printing on art paper using very high-quality pigment inks and printed in very high definition. Its level of conservation is exceptional (more than 100 years), its quality, depth, and richness of nuances exceeds the classic photo print on Argentic paper.
Glossy finish
Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. A pure white color, non-yellowing to light, this paper is especially designed for resistance and aging. It is used by major museums worldwide as it offers excellent resolution, rendering deep and dense colors.

This artwork was painted en Plein air in Italy. Italy struck me with its sunny, friendly, free and very romantic atmosphere. We lived in a beautiful house high in the mountains, and we had a beautiful view from our balcony – it was the view of the sea, picturesque Italian houses with red roofs and Vesuvius, which attracted me with its mystery. I was so impressed with this landscape that I just couldn't help painting it.

Irina Makarova was born in Moscow, Russia, and currently lives in London, UK.
Since 2005, she studied painting in the studio of the Russian artist Konstantin Kaufman. She graduated from the Moscow Architectural Institute in 2008, and then she took an Art course at Moscow State Academic Art Institute named after Surikov. She joined the International Art Foundation in 2008. She prefers to work in oil and often uses open colours in her artwork.
Irina mostly creates expressive figurative art. The form and relationships between different forms and figures set a huge field of interpretation through different historical and mythological contexts. Irina's paintings are born in her inner world through observation and experience of the surrounding life.
Irina's art was influenced by the pictorial language of the Russian avant-garde of the early twentieth century and the work of German expressionists, as well as by Bosch, Giotto, El Greco, and Modigliani.
Irina has participated in more than 60 exhibitions in Russia and Europe. Her works are in private and public collections in England, Scotland, Russia, France, Italy, Spain, Finland, Switzerland, and the Czech Republic.
