Grenoblois d'origine, je vis et travaille sur la côte d'Azur, j'ai grandi dans une famille d'artistes. À la maison mon père, Yvan BILLY, sculpte le bois dans la salle à manger, ''on avait les copeaux dans la soupe''...
Par souci de légitimité artistique, je suis venu à la création sur le tard. Après 40 ans et quelques turbulences de vie, en une seule nuit, je me lance et ne m'arrête plus, c'est devenu une évidence, une nécessité , un second souffle!
Ce que je recherche, essentiellement, c'est l'émotion. celle que je ressens devant la toile, celle qui est suscitée par mes tableaux et surtout celle que l'on pourra partager. Beaucoup de rectangles et de couleurs vives. Grand perfectionniste, je propose dans un sourire, une analogie avec ma seconde passion, le parachutisme, je ne me sens pas de me lancer dans les courbes. Comme en chute pour que la courbe soit belle et la sensation forte, il faut d'abord que tout soit carré...
