Gianfranco Zanini and been born to Asmara (Ethiopia) 30 January of 1944. And' in this small angle of Africa that begins to play with the colours of the father, profession designer and since young illustrator and of it endures the artistic inspiration, demonstrating one natural predisposition and ability in the design, the perspective and the colours. It has studied near the Institute of Art of Castello Sforzesco of Milan and has begun to work then near of the publishing like illustrator, continuing its experience in the cardboard-animated ones, the diagram and the packaging, becoming very soon creative important Art-director and director record houses and agencies of publicity. It has published the only didactic book of design for the graphic and publicity schools published in Italy from Mondadori.
At the same time, has continued its vocation in the painting until dedicating itself entire and exclusively to the art. In this its historical moment the artist deepens the studies on the techniques of the ancient drawing. Its art, than the artist it loves to define new figuration, it is the application practically of the deepened study of the classic figurative art, than it is translate in personal interpretation with the trade ability and in the tidy choice of techniques appropriated to the subjects that develop.
