Daria Tkacheva’s artwork LONG TIME tells the painter’s perception of time and various time limits. Time is endless, by itself it looks like a blank canvas on which the artist creates a work of art. Life is an art, and it has boarders, just like an expressive colourful brush stroke. Time is colourless, and only events fill it with colours. The contrasting combination of colours in abstract piece LONG TIME is minimalistic, but meaningfully embraces any contrasts that lifetime consists of. Looking closer the viewer can see that the painting consists entirely of stripes, in which time intervals and finishing lines are conceptually encrypted. We can also see that, excluding the metaphysical orange that crosses the lines, the colour on the plane of the painting is unified, but one of the equal halves looks as if it was passed through negative. Her works are an expression of emotions - impulsive and sometimes smooth gestures on the canvas.

She predominantly works in a mixed media.
