La chair d’Hégo n’oublie pas le pinceau, celui qui façonne au-delà du corps, celui qui couvre d’intentions, bien plus que ne le ferait le plus lourd, le plus enveloppant des vêtements.
La chair d’Hégo parle un langage mystérieux, au-delà de la nudité, au-delà du paraître, celui de l’unité et de l’immense fraternité du vivant.
La chair d’Hégo est une terre vierge qui ne révèle son secret qu’à l’éclairage d’un regard qui ne se contente pas de la forme.

Born in the Paris region in 1974.
Diligent studies followed at the Faculty of Arts and Letters in Amiens, particularly in the studio of Denis Pouppeville. He obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Video option) in 1997.
Quickly, as a certified teacher and in parallel with his profession as an artist, he taught visual arts. FH began his career in the East of Paris, in a suburb bustling with differences, cultures, people.
He summarizes his philosophy as follows: “Figures waiting, in perdition, falling, in failure, in danger and in full knowledge of the facts.”
Frédéric Hégo has been exhibiting since 1997, first presenting installation or video-installation work, then painting, drawing and engraving and photographs during collective or individual events.

In addition to the collections, the works of Frédéric Hégo illustrate literary works, in particular the magnificent Cognes et Flics by Paul Verlaine or Aux imbéciles by Charles Cros, both from 2011 by Fissile editions.
Today Frédéric lives, works and paints in Rouen.
