Kira Habyb Abud é formada em Arte pela Universidade de Brasília, Neuropsicopedagoga e psicanalista. Autora do livro de Terapia Antiestress " Arabesk", dedicou sua vida ao desenho, a pintura e ao handlettering. Especializou-se no estudo e na prática da arte árabe em especial a arte islâmica e suas diversas manifestações: pintura em porcelana, iluminuras, modelagem e pintura de cerâmicas, mandalas , telas em bordado árabe, pintura em parede, murais, vitrais, e inovadora técnica de personalização em barcos. De descendência árabe realiza-se divulgando a arte desta exótica cultura misturando a excentricidade dos traços islâmicos `a vivacidade do colorido presente na cultura brasileira.

Durante 20 anos ministrou aulas e projetos de arte para crianças e adolescentes matriculados no ensino publico brasileiro. Atualmente dedica-se exclusivamente ao trabalho de artista plástica, em seu ateliê situado na cidade de Florianópolis no Brasil.
