José Jackson Guadamuz Guadamuz is an artist originally from Santa Cruz, Guanacaste, with a degree in Plastic Arts from the University of Costa Rica. Throughout his career he has been awarded in competitions from institutions such as the Costa Rican Center for Science and Culture, the Costa Rican-North American Center. He has exhibited his plastic and scenic work in San José, Guanacaste, Limón and San Ramón de Alajuela. In the academic field, he completed an internship at the Universities of Salamanca and Vigo, Spain; and is managing his Bachelor of Painting project: a mosaic mural in the Student Residences of the U.C.R. He is also a specialist in the science of Art Therapy, with workshops that are aimed at children, young people, and older adults.
