Truffle tells the story:
“ Things are happening in our house, you would not believe it!
Yesterday the gardeners from the town came with their big crane machine and started cutting the dead leaves from the giant palm tree in front of our window.
They had not come for a long long time, and there were millions of dead leaves, it looked awful! By the time the guys had finished their work, only some green leaves were left up there...
And suddenly a kind of white ball appeared between the few leaves, hanging from the tree...
It was a little monkey! Yes, he had been living there all the time, among the dead leaves, where nobody could see him! Amazing that his fur was still so white after staying so long in that dirt and dust!
As he saw me looking at him through the window he waved to me. I waved back, and then he simply jumped on our balcony!!!
Well, we are right now discussing what will happen to him now. He can no further live in the palm tree, there are hardly leaves left, and he needs to be protected sometimes. We might bring him to a zoo, or to an animal sanctuary, or a shop.
But you know what? I doubt he will go anywhere. We gave him already a name "Coconut". And he was one hour in the house that he made Miki and Mary laugh so much! Miki always told me that the secret of being successful with girls, is to make them laugh. So, I guess he will stay with us.
I would love that, he seems to be so funny!
I will keep you informed.
Love you all
xx
