Le journal du jardin 24.03.2019 Fleur de pêcher (2019) Photography by Smiljana Frankovic - Karaman
"Fine-Arts" prints on paper
It is a process of printing on art paper using very high-quality pigment inks and printed in very high definition. Its level of conservation is exceptional (more than 100 years), its quality, depth, and richness of nuances exceeds the classic photo print on Argentic paper.
Glossy finish
Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. A pure white color, non-yellowing to light, this paper is especially designed for resistance and aging. It is used by major museums worldwide as it offers excellent resolution, rendering deep and dense colors.

Smiljana Frankovic - Karaman is a painter, sculptor and photographer who expresses revolt, pain and hope, the beauty and strength of human beings, the search for meaning, the intuition of the future and the memory of all that is within us. preceded. The interaction between the human world and the Universe. She experiments with new work techniques and movements, based on spontaneity, movement and the mastery of these elements. These works are a reflection of what is happening in the world, at every moment. It reacts to unacceptable things, it is its way of fighting against the violence suffered by millions of human beings, its way of continuing the fight of the generations that preceded us; it expresses the enchantment by the beauty of the world, of life in all its forms, the happiness of living despite everything. It is also a battle against the ugliness, the degradation which awaits us; the battle against nonsense, emptiness, boredom, indifference. It expresses what is unspeakable by words, what is beyond words. The bursts of happiness, the abysses of despair, the states of grace where, all of a sudden, everything seems to become possible and is, in reality, for a moment. She loves colors, works with pure pigments, the canvas on the ground, in her studio or in the garden, under the trees, which makes it possible to intervene in space, movement, breath, hers or that of the wind.
