Graduated from the Willem de Kooning Academy Rotterdam (2015).
Field of study: autonomous fine art / fine arts.

main theme: imbalance

My work is about social problems think of:
polarization, alienation, hardening, etc.
But also about individual statuses such as: boredom, doubt, despair, etc.
In the first place I try to visualize the feeling of the above subjects, without being (too) literal and / or directing.

I prefer to use 'anonymous' mediums such as:
charcoal, MDF panels, RAL 9010.
These mediums are so widely accepted that they (for me) symbolize the 'mass'.
