Fanny

After 15 years of creation, Fanny decided to create her own activity as a painter in cooperative.
Since her first creations dominated by figurative art in the 90’s, followed by an abstract and voluminous style in the 2000’s and since her expositions in 2009, her artistic commitment guides her to a determinedly eclectic choice.
In love with freedom of expression, Fanny is a nonconformist artiste: she doesn’t stick to a single style, she glean according to the inspiration.
Fascinated by the human being, she paints zooms of pure emotion on black surrounded canvas, reinforcing the intensity of the excitement of a victorious sport man or a jazzman drenched by music.
Fanny’s art is sometimes closed to cubism when the artist enjoys decompartmentalizing geometric rigors of the characters which she dazes with blazing colors: “Pri(s)me de vue”.
The surprising atmosphere of her collections “Bizarres sensualités” which, in a provocative style, combines with naive painting (by simplified outlines of bright colors) the wrongly “ingenuous” representation of naked young women.
She also experiments the sense of touch in 3D paintings. She traps the movements in a work of material and sculpts the volumes in an explosion of colors.

Through Fanny’s creations, we can read an explorer artist, who is conjugating the taste for the artistic adventure and the discovery of the unknown. The artist lives on social relationships, her art is stimulated by interpersonal interactions.
The spirit of her works is loaded with escaped moments of pleasure and happiness, like invasive feelings, fainting instantly and which we would like to feel over and over: “live intensely the current moment” seems to be the lesson to remember of Fanny’s Gallery: www.

Determinedly eclectic artistic commitment and been in love freedom of expression, I would consider of artist a dissenter: explorer.
Living between Besançon and Montpellier my three main sources of inspiration are the life, the human race and the freedom.

Preferring the acrylic for the fast fulfillment of execution and the realization which she allows, Fanny treats all the themes, in particular the portraits, with a preference for the artists of the jazz.
Attracted by shape and colors, she likes the work of the material and to experiment all the types of textures with a taste pronounced for the experiment. In fact, besides the freedom in the variety of the treated subjects, she also takes liberties in the material (acrylic, tissues, newspaper, plaster, writing), in the space (the surface of a painting, the volume) and of techniques (the brush, the knife, the spatula, the collage).

Mars. 2010 put into series " Journey of the senses(directions) " seem to me to express a desire of quite short journey and meetings. For "Bloom" we cannot make more lively and more direct colors. I like very much your "Lilies". Thierry c.

Paint or communicate: why to choose?
After 15 years of artistic creation marked out by experiments (material, subjects, colors), in continuous search around messages, I understand that the need to communicate is the main engine of my creation (what of more common to an artistic approach). Brushes, paint, glue, plaster, are for me of the vectors to go towards others.

If today the need to communicate rest so strong, itis (I notice) centred on the feelings I would specify even, centred on the feelings for which I do not succeed in finding the strength in the words... Would I Paint what I do not know how to say? In any case, I paint what is the most difficult to express: our feelings.

As a matter of fact, it would not be the human being who calls me? I am convinced of a thing(matter): I built myself through and thanks to the human meetings. These persons crossed in my life undoubtedly contributed what I am today. I become soaked and feed on all the meetings.
My current period inspired by the human being...

Somewhere, the rising artistic approach in which I make a commitment since a few months (in December, 2008) could be read as a tribute to the human being in all its sentimental complexity: the stigmas of the enjoyment, the love, the melancholy, in brief the meaning signs of the feelings are my main subjects. The musician of jazz, his singer, but also the victorious sportsman of a event, a competition the satisfaction of the personal fulfillment, the emotion which has no word, only an image, a color, a line(feature) are not they them who (arisen from my brush) led(drove) me to the initiative of this year?

In 2008, I varnished " Rose de prose", symbol of a friendship among which each of six " pétales de prose " are effeuillés in different place in France to settle(arise) with a woman who is dear to me. To communicate a feeling with others is so complex as it becomes my artistic source of inspiration.
Of the road during 15 years and when of questions!
The painting came to my help in 1994, while I had strong questionings on the life, the sense of the life at an age where these questions are a part of one but so anchored at the bottom of one (in the meanders of the existential questions that settle(arise) at an age of uncertainty) which they are complex to extract.

2000 is a strong year: I varnished then in August " section of life in a wild eternity " (my first creation worthy of the name) and I concluded, without knowing, a period of personal questionings and artistic "dependence" (the copy, the uncertain techniques, the doubts on the treated(handled) subject). Reassured (more than confident) quant in my capacities and in my control(master's degree) of artistic techniques, I made a commitment towards a surge(flight) freeing(releasing) my spirit, authorizing me to give free rein my artistic imagination.

And during eight years which succeeded one another, until December, 2008, I dashed wholeheartedly into the experiment of the material(subject), the subjects, the collection(quest) of relief, to tame the material(subject), the experience(experiment), the search(research)... Starved by novelty, I created of the volume: " the with a ruddy complexion knot " ( 2004 ). I ventured on the experiment of styles: geometry (" Circle two toucans / round toucans " on 2008), landscape (" maritime musing " on 2006) or still cubism (" bizarre sensualité 2008)
