Yes, indeed, it is this desire to dust off the things of yesteryear that is bothering me. I started by rediscovering the tales of my hometown Constantine. Then I became interested in the culinary art and all the ceremonial that accompanies it… And then the desire to illustrate my writings and here I am, a brush in my hand… A brush that I never let go of… But even in my painting is what I am not looking for and, despite myself, this certain duty of memory?
