Eric Turlot Paintings
From advertising to Art
Eric Turlot has not always been a painter. After majoring from Duperré Applied Arts School, best known as Beaux-Arts School of Paris, Eric first worked in the communication field. From 1975 to 2005, he was Graphic Designer, Arts Manager then Creative Manager in some of the most innovative communication agencies in Paris.
2005 was a key year. Though he had already praticed drawing and painting as hobbies, he decided to devote to painting only. This was the beginning of the “Around Midnight” series: research work on urban painting, highlighting the nocturnal battle between light and darkness in a jazzy spirit.
Though Eric Turlot lives in Paris and uses the «City of Light» as a renewed source for his inspiration, he chose to set up his studio in nearby Normandy. Is it because its light was so dear to impressionists?
In 2009, Eric’s works received acknowledgement with two major awards:
- Arts, Sciences & Letters Academic Society silver medal - French Merit gold medal.
Eric Turlot is also rated at Drouot and member of Taylor foundation.

20bis Avenue Mac-Mahon, Paris, France
