Bio    Eurydice Maria Ventouri

"I was born a painter and studied architecture"

I was born in Piraeus (Greece) where I graduated from high school at the Greco-French school "Jeanne d'Arc". 

I followed my Αrchitecture studies in France, in Rouen at the beginning, (first cycle) and in Paris thereafter (second and third cycle of studies) at the National School of Architecture of Paris-La Villette ( UP6) from which I graduated. 

During my studies in Rouen I had the chance to attend the engraving class of Jacques Ramondot (professor of engraving at the National School of Fine Arts) where I learned a lot about metal engraving. At that time, during my stay in France, I mainly worked with ink drawings and engravings on metal with the techniques "eau forte" and "pointe seche"

After my return to Greece, I mainly worked with oil painting on canvas.
