The roses in the front garden give off a faint scent, the night breeze ruffles my hair and makes me smile, and the last gleams of light reflect on the steps and mossy rooftops as the street prepares for sleep.

Modular panels.
The modules are made using the "scales" technique and convey the mother-of-pearl overflow of wood in black.
Material: solid oak.
Base: birch plywood.
The size of one module is 1200x600 mm.

Dmitrii Solodcenco is a contemporary sculptor from Moldova. The texture of wood, warm and friendly in a way, has been inspiring him on the path to understanding the art of carpentry for the past 30 years. The result of this experience is unique crafted works made using a specially developed technique. The wood was manually chipped thousands and thousands of times. With the cutter, adjusting every detail of the mosaic, it was secured into its own special place. Thus, drop by drop, a magical, warm, unique texture was born.
