Certains n’ont jamais eu le blé dont ils ont illuminé leur toile ni ce pain qui semble croustiller sous la chaude lumière des couleurs pour apaiser les jours de jeûne. Ils auront laissé ce bout d’eux même dans une cave ou un grenier, comme une croûte ; juste bonne à donner aux chiens, à quelques grouillants des ténèbres, ou à servir de cadre aux toiles d’araignées. Depuis ce petit pain de pâte colorée, repose en un musée ; c’est un fournil où on le garde à température nécessaire comme oiseaux sur le nid.
L’image de ce petit pain pourrait aujourd’hui rassasier pour plusieurs jours des milliers de ventres affamés et en plus de quoi cultiver ce blé qui illumine la toile de ce musée.
