Abdoul-Ganiou Dermani is a painter and photographer of Togolese origin, born in 1973 in Agou-Nyogo, Togo. Naturalized German in 2008, he has lived and worked in Stuttgart since December 2003.

From the age of 7, Abdoul-Ganiou Dermani developed a passion for art by reproducing images from books and cosmetic products. His artistic journey began at the College of Artistic and Craft Education in Kpalimé, Togo, where he studied painting and batik art from 1991 to 1995. During this period, he became known for drawing portraits and creating batik works that he sold to individuals and foreign tourists.

After his studies, he devoted himself to artistic training as a drawing teacher at the primary school of Kpalimé, then at the Padre Francisco craft center in Sokodé. There, he trained young girls in the batik art trades, especially single mothers and poor girls under the aegis of the Spanish sisters.

His work, marked by a deep sensitivity to beauty and culture, reflects a unique fusion between his African roots and his European experience. Since settling in Germany, Abdoul-Ganiou Dermani continues to develop his art by exploring varied themes through painting and photography.
