Davidian Gotis is a painter who was introduced to the "gesture of painting" by a painter named B. Alexis in Saint-Geours-de-Marenne in 2009. He attended "le Cercle du Marais d'Orx", a collective of amateur and professional artists who meet once a week for a nude painting session with a model. He also attended rehearsals for the "Ballet de Biarritz" to study the grace of movement. He participated in his first collective exhibition in 2010 with "le Cercle du Marais d'Orx" in Labenne. He attended the Bayonne School of Fine Arts from 2010 to 2012. His meeting with Yahne le Toumelin, a Buddhist nun and French painter, triggered his artistic approach. He is influenced by Kandinsky, Zao Wou-Ki, Jackson Pollock, Pierre Soulages and Georges Mathieu. He practiced and trained in Evolutionary Art-Therapy from 2010 to 2012. He participated in the American movement "Daily Paintings" from 2014 to 2016. He opened a "Gallery / Workshop" in Joinville-en-Vallage in 2017 where he currently lives.
